About Kathryn Cares
Hello Parents/Guardians!
My name is Kathryn, and I provide loving, faith-based childcare from my Christian home. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and build the skills they need for a successful transition to kindergarten.
I believe children learn best through a balance of play and structured activities. Each day includes opportunities for hands-on learning through circle time, arts and crafts, sensory play, music, worksheets, and other engaging activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and development.
My Background
I have over 30 years of experience working with children and have been providing in-home childcare for the past 11 years. As a mother of four daughters, I understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. My background includes special education and early childhood education, with experience as a preschool teacher and supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Throughout my career, I have owned my own babysitting business, worked as a nanny, served as a special education teacher's aide, coordinated children's playgroups and clubs, taught preschool, and worked as an IEP Coordinator for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Working with children has always been my passion, and I am committed to helping each child learn, grow, and thrive.
